About Us

Lions Soccer Alabama is not just a soccer school — it’s a social project. We are committed to social integration, education, and character building. Through soccer, we help children develop habits and attitudes that will benefit them for life.

Our Philosophy

  • We recruit, train, and promote young talents.

  • We provide our players with the opportunity to be observed and evaluated by experts in the identification and promotion of young soccer players.

  • We count on the collaboration, experience, and support of active players, former players, coaches, and professionals connected to the soccer world at both national and international levels.

  • We aim to become a reference in the development of young soccer players.

  • The academy seeks to achieve its objectives through a personalized methodology based on progressive learning.

  • We not only focus on improving the child’s technical, motor, and psychological skills, but we also instill other educational, social, and formative values.

  • Before training soccer players, we train human beings!

  • We don’t just say we have an exciting sports project, eager to learn and improve every day, but it is and will continue to be a social project — we will fight for social integration.

WE WILL PROMOTE

  • Respect for People: Protecting and respecting students’ integrity is essential. We encourage tolerance, dialogue, and respect for rules and authority.

  • Respect for Property: Students commit to caring for the academy’s equipment, uniforms, and facilities.

  • Respectful Behavior: Violence, offensive language, or unsportsmanlike conduct is not tolerated.

PLAYERS’ CODE OF PLAY

  • Play for fun, not just to please parents or coaches.

  • Respect the rules of the game and the referees’ decisions.

  • Control temper and avoid unsportsmanlike conduct.

  • Be a good teammate — cooperate with coach, team, and opponents.

  • Remember the golden rule: Treat others as you would like to be treated.

COACH’S CODE OF PLAY

  • Remember: players are children — be reasonable with demands on their time and energy.

  • Teach rules and the spirit of the game, not just skills.

  • Let players play — avoid constant yelling during matches.

  • Prioritize safety: check equipment and facilities before every practice/game.

  • Promote respect for referees, opponents, and teammates.

  • Never play injured players; follow medical clearance guidelines.

  • Be a positive role model and continue learning through coaching seminars.
